The Old Brewer, Public House and Dining Room in Stockholm’s central Vasastan district, has become one the first venues outside the UK to earn Champions Club status from the Timothy Taylor’s Brewery.

This status is reserved for pubs which consistently serve Timothy Taylor’s cask beers in perfect condition, and ensures that The Old Brewer’s guests will have even better access to some of the world’s best cask ales. Based in Yorkshire, Timothy Taylor’s range of beers includes their Landlord Pale Ale, and which has the unique distinction of winning both CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain and the Brewing Industry Challenge Cup four times. Staff at the Old Brewer have been known to call it “The Ingemar Stenmark of cask ales”

Since opening in October 2020, The Old Brewer has featured fine cask beer served in the traditional manner, sourced via the team at Jorvik Estates, Sweden’s premier supplier of fine British cask beers. Jeremy Duxbury, the MD of Jorvik Estates , says of the Old Brewer’s achievement,
